Ika nga ni Marku, to start the month and the week right (October 1, Monday), aba e mag-Oktober fest na!
With my roomates, Ira and Shine, nilibre kami ni Marku sa Beers Paradise (Polaris St. Makati City). Ah andaming beers, 100 kinds of beer nga.
At mas mapait.
Parang pag-ibig, potah.
Napakinig tuloy ako ngayon ng October ng Evanescence — “Broken, Lifeless, I give up. You’re my only strength. Without you, I can’t go on, Anymore. Ever again.”
we were driving along pasong tamo last weekend and i spotted galileo enoteca. despite the fact that we were already gulping our avocado smoothies, we excitedly parked and ordered for their menu and wine list. it was around three in the afternoon, the sun was quite strong but we decided to eat al fresco.
i just had late lunch, the big chill avocado smoothie was actually my desert, so sadly, i coudn’t order pizza and pasta. so we ordered sardines, cold cuts and cheese platter and provolone. marco is a cheese monster so he ate most of the cheese platter and the provolone. i love sardines, we had two servings. and of course the wine, one bottle of wine was quite enough for us, it wasn’t really cheap. and it was barely 4pm. definitely, t’was not a good idea to order for another bottle.
i’ll be back there another time and i’ll be skipping breakfast and lunch before i go there. when going there, be ready to shell out a thousand bucks. but it’s all worth the delicious food and the commendable service, and of course, more wine.
we had dinner at the new grams diner at rockwell tonight with our friends/old colleagues. the restos in the block where loft is were already trasferred to the block just across the street. it’s along hidalgo drive, at the back of powerplant mall. the place looks better, well except that brother’s burger is missing, but no more mosquitos, i haven’t seen the children’s sandbox/playground yet, i guess they didn’t put it back.the new grams still has marco’s pictures.
